We collect only the information needed to provide AntiGhosted's AI message suggestions and manage your account. This includes:
We do not collect your phone contacts, location, or photos unless you explicitly choose to provide them.
We use your data for specific purposes and rely on a lawful basis for each one, such as performing our contract with you, protecting the service and users (legitimate interests), or your explicit consent where required. For example:
We do not sell your conversation content, use it for advertising targeting, or use it for analytics, AI training, or marketing. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy (for example, with AI and payment providers under appropriate agreements).
We take security seriously. Data is stored in encrypted databases and caches, and is protected at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption. We use multiple layers of security controls to prevent unauthorized access and abuse, limit access to authorized personnel, and monitor for security issues. On mobile, authentication tokens are kept in secure device storage and only held in memory while the app is active; they are rotated and revoked as needed, and sensitive information is cleared when the app is not in use.
We use trusted providers to deliver parts of the service. AI-generated suggestions are produced by LLM providers such as Gemini, and payments and subscriptions are processed by providers such as Stripe or RevenueCat. We have Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) in place with each subprocessor and only share the minimum data necessary for them to perform their specific purpose. For example, Google Gemini's data use depends on whether the service uses the paid or unpaid API: the unpaid API may use prompts and responses to improve Google products and machine learning technologies, while the paid API does not use prompts or responses to improve products except for limited abuse-prevention logging and legal disclosures. Depending on your location, you have rights over your personal data, including the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data. You can view and delete your generation history, request a copy of your data, correct account inaccuracies, and delete your account from the app or by contacting support. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it.
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it, including related caches where feasible. Deletion requests are honored in accordance with this retention policy and any legal obligations.
AntiGhosted is not intended for users under 13. If we discover an underage account, we will delete it.
